How to Choose the Right Shade

 

 

Step 1 – Understand the Starting Point

 

Check whether the hair is:

 

• Natural

• Previously colored

• Grey

• Different at the regrowth and through the ends

 

 

Step 2 – Define the Goal

 

Decide whether the result should:

 

• Stay at the same level

• Go darker

• Go lighter

• Cover grey hair

 

 

Step 3 – Follow the Basic Rule

 

 

• Natural hair can usually be lifted up to two levels

• Previously colored hair cannot be lightened with color, only maintained or darkened

• For stronger grey coverage, choose shades with 00

Grey Coverage Example

 

If the regrowth contains grey hair and the lengths are already a 7.1, and the goal is to keep the same level while creating a more even result, apply:

7.00 75g + 7.1 25g on the regrowth for strong grey coverage.

During the last 10 minutes, mix the remaining formula with CLEAR and apply through the mid-lengths and ends to refresh the color and blend the result without making the hair darker.

 

Processing Time

 

 

• Minimum 35 minutes for grey coverage

• Up to 45 minutes if the hair is resistant or thick
